Denials of wrongdoing from Portsmouth officials facing a civil suit

The response is to a lawsuit filed by resident Monica Clough, 20, who names former deputy police chief Corey MacDonald, police detectives Timothy Cashman and Rebecca Hester, the School Department and retired teacher Joseph Arnstein as defendants. She claims malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, violation of law prohibiting sexual harassment, and violation of the equal protection clause.
