Laconia couple injured at Sturgis Rally 2017

At 9:27 a.m., U.S. Highway 85, in Belle Fourche: A motorcycle was southbound on U.S. Highway 85 when the driver activated his turn signal and slowed down. A southbound pickup rear-ended the motorcycle. The male motorcycle driver, 54-years-old from Laconia, NH, suffered minor injuries. He was not wearing a helmet. The female passenger, 50-years-old from Laconia, NH, was thrown from the motorcycle. She was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious non-life threatening injuries.
